Boyd Munson DMD
Dr. Munson is a native of the Pacific Northwest and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University. After completing a residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Fellowship at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he earned a certificate in Endodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Dr. Munson has practiced full-time Endodontics in Kirkland since 1991 and was selected one of “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He has also been voted among “top Dentists” by his professional peers in the field of Endodontics as reported by Seattle Met Magazine for many years running. He has been Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Washington since 1991, and served as former Chairman, department of Dentistry for Evergreen Hospital Medical Center. He is a member in good standing of the American Association of Endodontists as well as the American Dental Association.
Dr. Munson is married with two sons and enjoys traveling with his family. His hobbies include hiking, biking, skiing, photography, astronomy and drumming. He and his wife are outdoor enthusiasts whose adventures have taken them to the summit of Yosemite’s Half Dome and California’s Mt Whitney as well as hiking The Grand Canyon.

Never have I had such a professional experience. I am a perfectionist. He exceeded my expectations in every way.
Dr. Munson is simply the best. Handle me with care. A true professional. My root canal was deep and he found an abscess in the gum line. Appointment took longer. He had a patient waiting. Never left my side. Never rushed. Did it right. Making sure I was okay all the time. When it was done he explained there might be some pain the next day. I had none. I believe it’s because he took his time and did his job to perfection. The staff showed the same concern. When I was there and when I left. They called the next day to see how I was doing. I would definitely go back here again
This was my first trip to this office. I was so nervous when I got there but the staff was amazing and welcomed me. They took me to my room and then the doctor came in(Dr Munson)I got so nervous again but he took the time to explain the procedure, which made me more comfortable. And boy let me tell you he can give good shots. I never even felt him give me the shots(and 1 was in the roof of my mouth). So I have to give kudos and I would definitely go back here again.
